CONFIG by Network Kings is a training simulator. Every router, switch, firewall, PC and server you see is a simulation built for learning. It is not Cisco IOS, Junos, FortiOS or PAN-OS, contains no vendor software, and its behaviour and output are simplified approximations of real equipment.

Do not use anything you configure here as a production configuration without validating it on real equipment and official documentation. Network Kings is not affiliated with or endorsed by Cisco Systems, Juniper Networks, Fortinet or Palo Alto Networks, and completing labs here does not guarantee any certification result.

1. Who we are

CONFIG by Network Kings (the "Service") is an online, simulation-based learning platform operated by Network Kings ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you use the Service, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

The Service exists for education only. We collect only what we need to run your account, save your learning progress and provide the features you use.

2. Information we collect

Account information. Your name and email address, and your sign-in method (email one-time code or Google sign-in). If you use Google sign-in, Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with us.

Learning activity. Lab completion and progress, quiz and exam attempts and scores, XP and leaderboard statistics, trial status, and the topologies, configurations and notes you save in "Build your own lab". Commands you type in a lab console run in your browser; they are sent to our servers only when you ask the AI Lab Assistant for help (see below).

Leaderboard. If you appear on the leaderboard, a display name (for example "Atul S."), your XP and labs completed are visible to other learners. You can hide yourself from the board.

Purchases. When you buy a plan, payment is processed by our payment partner Razorpay. We receive order and payment identifiers, the plan purchased, the amount and the payment status. We do not receive or store your full card, UPI or bank details.

Device and usage data. Your browser stores small preferences on your device (language, theme, console size, trial state) using local storage. Our hosting and infrastructure providers automatically process technical data such as IP address, browser type and request logs to deliver and secure the Service.

3. AI features

The AI Lab Assistant and the AI lab builder send your message together with the relevant lab context (lab title, tasks, topology and progress) to third-party AI model providers to generate a response. Please do not enter personal, confidential or sensitive information into AI chats. AI responses may be inaccurate; always verify them.

4. How we use your information

  • to create and secure your account and let you sign in;
  • to save and show your progress, scores, saved labs, trial and subscription status;
  • to process purchases and prevent payment fraud;
  • to provide AI-assisted help when you request it;
  • to operate, maintain, debug and improve the Service;
  • to send service messages such as sign-in codes and receipts;
  • to comply with law and enforce our Terms of Use.

We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

5. Who we share it with

We share personal data only with service providers who process it on our behalf and under appropriate safeguards: our application hosting and database platform, our email and authentication providers (including Google if you choose Google sign-in), Razorpay for payments, and AI model providers for the AI features. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect the rights and safety of users or the public, or as part of a business transfer.

Some providers may process data outside India. Where that happens we rely on the provider's contractual and security commitments.

6. How long we keep it

We keep account and learning data while your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account we delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, except records we must keep for legal, tax, accounting or dispute purposes (for example payment records).

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls, to protect your data. No online service can be completely secure; please use a strong, unique password or Google sign-in and keep your account to yourself.

8. Your rights and choices

Subject to applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask us to access, correct or update your personal data, delete your account and personal data, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, and nominate another person to exercise your rights. You can hide yourself from the leaderboard at any time and clear local browser storage from your browser settings.

To make a request, contact us through the contact or support options published on nwkings.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

9. Children

The Service is intended for users aged 18 and over. Learners under 18 may use it only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. If you believe a child has provided personal data without that consent, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date and, for significant changes, notify you in the Service or by email.
